Custom Prayer Mat, Islamic Prayer Rug, Gift For Muslim

PREMIUM OTTOMAN-INSPIRED TERRACOTTA TREE OF LIFE MIHRAB PRAYER MAT

This Turkish Muslim prayer mat features an elegant multi-lobed Mihrab arch surrounded by an intricate geometric arabesque lattice, a grand central flowering Tree of Life composition and a wide Shah Abbasi palmette border. Inspired by Ottoman palace-style textile art, the design combines a Cream and Off-White inner prayer field with a rich Terracotta and Coral Red outer border, Muted Salmon Pink upper spandrels and refined Deep Wine Burgundy linework.

The central field brings together repeating geometric frameworks and a large symmetrical flowering vine structure that rises toward the Mihrab. Detailed palmettes, scrolling leaves and botanical corner sprays create a richly decorative composition while the Medium Gray end-borders and tassels provide a structured finish.

COLOR PALETTE

Terracotta / Coral Red — The dominant color of the wide outer border and the prominent flowing vine structure rising through the center of the prayer field.

Cream / Off-White — Forms the main background of the inner prayer field and provides a clean foundation for the detailed geometric and botanical artwork.

Muted Salmon Pink — Used in the upper spandrel areas surrounding the main Mihrab arch, adding a soft warm contrast to the central field.

Deep Wine Burgundy — Defines the arabesque vines, architectural arch structures and fine geometric details throughout the composition.

Charcoal / Indigo Gray — Appears in the large central blossom, lower crest and selected fine botanical leaves, adding subtle depth to the warm palette.

Medium Gray — Used for the woven end-borders and functional hanging tassels at the top and bottom edges.

MIHRAB ARCH

The upper central field features a beautiful multi-lobed pointed Mihrab arch with a scalloped architectural silhouette.

The Mihrab is traditionally associated with the sacred prayer niche and the direction of prayer toward Mecca. On prayer rugs, it serves as one of the most recognizable visual elements, creating a clear symbolic focus for the prayer space.

ARABESQUE LATTICE AND GIRIH-INSPIRED GEOMETRY

The Cream and Off-White inner prayer field is covered by a continuous geometric lattice formed from fine Deep Wine Burgundy lines.

The repeating interlocking frameworks create small star and polygon-like structures across the background. In Islamic decorative art, repeating geometric networks are traditionally associated with infinite creation, divine order and the harmony of the universe.

GRAND CENTRAL TREE OF LIFE

Rising through the center of the prayer field is a large symmetrical flowering scroll composition inspired by the Tree of Life.

The Terracotta vine structure climbs upward through the geometric background before opening into detailed palmettes, scrolling leaves and a prominent central blossom.

Tree of Life imagery is traditionally associated with growth, continuous blessings, cosmic order and the eternal gardens of paradise. Here, it creates a strong botanical focal point within the architectural prayer design.

SHAH ABBASI PALMETTE BORDER

A wide continuous rectangular border frames the entire prayer mat.

The border features an undulating vine connecting large multi-petaled lotus-like Shah Abbasi palmettes with scrolling leaves and botanical tendrils over the Terracotta / Coral Red background.

Shah Abbasi floral motifs are widely associated with Persian and Ottoman decorative traditions and are traditionally interpreted through themes of beauty, flourishing nature and ornamental elegance.

CORNER FLORAL SPRAYS

The upper left and right spandrels contain symmetrical botanical sprays inspired by Hatayi-style floral decoration.

Curving vines extend upward through the Muted Salmon Pink areas, creating delicate floral clusters and elongated leaves around the Mihrab architecture.

These botanical arrangements primarily emphasize natural abundance, decorative elegance and the beauty traditionally associated with paradise imagery.

OTTOMAN PALACE-INSPIRED DESIGN

The overall composition combines architectural, geometric and botanical elements in a richly detailed Ottoman-inspired arrangement.

The Cream central field creates visual space for the fine Girih-style lattice, while the Terracotta / Coral Red border and central flowering Tree of Life provide a strong decorative framework. Deep Burgundy outlines help define the architecture and botanical details, while Charcoal / Indigo Gray accents add subtle contrast.

The result is an elegant Turkish prayer rug that combines traditional Islamic decorative vocabulary with a carefully balanced textile composition.

SOFT PRAYER MAT CONSTRUCTION

The approximately 7 mm surface provides a soft, silky-feel finish while maintaining a smooth, flat and lint-free construction.

The non-slip woven cotton backing helps keep the prayer rug stable during use. High-resolution digital printing reproduces the Mihrab, geometric lattice, Tree of Life, floral palmettes and botanical details with clear definition.
