Turkish Prayer Rug, Muslim İslamic Custom Prayer Mat
$99.02+ $123.78+
(1)
This elegant Islamic prayer mat features a richly detailed central medallion surrounded by delicate floral vines, stylized blossoms, and intricate botanical patterns.
The design is centered around a large, layered circular medallion that creates a strong focal point. Fine curved vines and floral motifs extend throughout the deep cobalt blue field, creating a balanced and symmetrical composition. Smaller floral cartouches continue around the wide outer border, adding another layer of detail to the design.
The combination of cobalt blue, light turquoise, ivory, cream, terracotta red, and soft yellow creates a bright yet traditional color palette. The lighter turquoise and ivory botanical details stand out beautifully against the deep blue background, while terracotta accents add warmth and contrast.
Central medallion compositions and flowing botanical ornament have a long presence in traditional Islamic decorative arts. In traditional interpretations, the balanced geometry and central organization can evoke ideas of unity, harmony, order, and contemplation.
The rich floral detailing gives this prayer mat a classic and decorative character, making it suitable for traditional, classic, maximalist, and elegant Muslim prayer spaces. It can also complement an Islamic home interior or make a thoughtful Islamic gift.
