COLOR MEANINGS

• Cream & Ivory Background: The light tones used throughout the center and corners create a clean, peaceful, and serene visual foundation.

• Soft Pink & Rose Tones: The pink and rose details add warmth, elegance, and softness to the floral composition, bringing the flowers to life.

• Blue & Turquoise Details: Visible throughout the borders, leaves, and floral elements, these colors add a calm, fresh, and peaceful feeling to the overall design.

• Gold & Brown Accents: Gold and brown shading adds warmth and depth while highlighting the contours and decorative details of the traditional motifs.

MOTIF & DESIGN DETAILS

• Central Round Medallion (Shamsa): The large circular medallion at the center is inspired by the shamsa form commonly found in Islamic decorative art. Its sun-like composition creates the main focal point of the design and brings the entire pattern together around the center.

• Corner Motifs: The four corners feature stylized curved leaves and ornamental elements inspired by traditional Eastern decorative compositions. They frame the central medallion and contribute to the balanced, symmetrical appearance of the prayer rug.

• Floral Bouquets & Vase Motifs: Vase-like compositions and scattered floral bouquets appear at the upper and lower sections of the design. These elements are inspired by garden and floral imagery found in traditional Islamic and Ottoman decorative arts, adding a sense of beauty, freshness, and renewal.

• Geometric Interlocking Borders: The wide interlocking borders surrounding the design create a defined frame around the central composition. Their repeated geometric pattern adds rhythm, balance, and a classic traditional character.
