Prayer Rug, Prayer Mat, Garden Panel Design Gebetsteppich
$99.02+ $123.78+
This richly detailed Islamic prayer rug features a traditional multi-panel garden composition filled with stylized birds, deer, horses, lions, peacocks, flowering plants, trees, and flowing water scenes.
The central field is divided into a series of rectangular and square panels, with each section presenting its own decorative nature scene. This distinctive layout creates the appearance of multiple small garden windows brought together into one harmonious composition. The symmetrical arrangement gives the rug a structured yet richly decorative character.
Garden imagery has a long presence in Islamic decorative arts, where trees, flowers, flowing water, and peaceful natural scenes can evoke ideas of beauty, creation, paradise, and spiritual reflection. The animal and bird figures add movement and life throughout the composition, while the repeated panels create a visual sense of continuity.
The wide outer border is finished in deep navy blue and decorated with circular landscape medallions and light-inspired motifs. These elements provide a strong frame around the colorful garden scenes and create a striking contrast between the dark border and the brighter interior panels.
The color palette combines deep navy blue with sky blue, turquoise, terracotta orange, salmon pink, green, cream, and white. The vibrant colors within each panel stand out beautifully against the darker outer border, giving the prayer rug a rich traditional and artistic appearance.
The detailed composition makes this rug particularly suitable for traditional, classic, eclectic, and richly decorated Muslim prayer spaces. It can also complement an Islamic home interior or serve as a meaningful Islamic gift.
