PREMIUM OTTOMAN-INSPIRED BLACK AND CREAM FLORAL MIHRAB PRAYER MAT

This Turkish Muslim prayer mat features an elegant multi-lobed Mihrab arch framed by slender architectural pillars, a grand vase of flowers, twin weeping willow-inspired trees and an intricate floral vine border. Inspired by Ottoman palace-style decorative art, the design creates a dramatic contrast between the Cream and Off-White inner prayer field and the Midnight Charcoal Black outer border and upper spandrels.

Muted Terracotta and Rust floral details bring warmth to the composition, while Soft Dusty Pink and Ice Blue accents add delicate color variation throughout the dense botanical artwork. Medium Gray end-borders and functional hanging tassels complete the traditional textile-inspired appearance.

COLOR PALETTE

Midnight Charcoal Black — The main background of the wide outer border and upper inner spandrels surrounding the Mihrab arch, creating a dramatic foundation for the botanical artwork.

Cream / Off-White — Forms the main background of the central prayer field and provides a light canvas for the detailed floral and architectural composition.

Muted Terracotta / Rust — Used throughout the intricate floral vines, column outlines and smaller guard borders, adding warmth and definition to the design.

Soft Dusty Pink — Appears within miniature background patterns and selected floral petals, providing subtle highlights among the botanical details.

Ice Blue — Adds delicate cool-toned accents to fine botanical elements within the darker borders and central field.

Medium Gray — Used for the woven end-borders and functional hanging tassels at the top and bottom edges.

MIHRAB ARCH

The central composition is structured around a highly ornamental multi-lobed pointed Mihrab arch with a graceful scalloped edge.

The Mihrab is traditionally associated with the sacred prayer niche and the direction of prayer toward Mecca. On an Islamic prayer rug, it provides a visual focus for the prayer area and connects the design with the architectural language of traditional mosque interiors.

VASE OF FLOWERS

A grand footed vase occupies the middle and lower sections of the Cream prayer field.

From the ornate urn rises a symmetrical bouquet of stylized blossoms, twisting stems and botanical leaves. Vase-of-flowers compositions are traditionally associated with gardens of paradise, spiritual abundance, divine beauty and life in full bloom.

ARCHITECTURAL PILLARS

Slender classical-style decorative pillars frame the inner prayer field on both sides.

Detailed bases and capitals are enhanced with climbing vine decoration, giving the Mihrab composition a structured architectural appearance. Pillar imagery is traditionally associated with support, stability and the foundational pillars of faith.

WEEPING WILLOW AND SHRUBBERY

Two stylized trees appear beneath the apex of the central arch, with dense descending branches filled with miniature leaves and flowers.

The symmetrical arrangement creates a graceful botanical canopy above the central floral composition. In traditional Islamic and Ottoman decorative interpretations, willow-like imagery can be associated with humility before the divine and the transient nature of earthly life.

ORNATE FLORAL VINE BORDER

The entire composition is enclosed by a wide rectangular floral border set against a Midnight Charcoal Black background.

The border contains tightly arranged scrolling rosettes, connected botanical vines and decorative cartouche-like panels. Fine floral details create a dense ornamental frame around the central prayer field.

Interconnected botanical patterns are traditionally interpreted through themes such as continuity, eternal life, unity and harmony.

OTTOMAN PALACE-INSPIRED DESIGN

The overall composition combines architectural, floral and botanical elements in a richly detailed Ottoman-inspired arrangement.

The light Cream and Off-White central field creates strong contrast against the Midnight Charcoal Black border and upper spandrels. Muted Terracotta and Rust linework defines the floral vines and architectural elements, while Dusty Pink and Ice Blue details introduce subtle highlights.

The symmetrical vase of flowers, twin willow-like trees, architectural pillars and dense floral border create a balanced classical composition suitable for both prayer and decorative interior use.

SOFT PRAYER MAT CONSTRUCTION

The approximately 7 mm surface provides a soft, silky-feel finish while maintaining a smooth, flat and lint-free construction.

The non-slip woven cotton backing helps keep the prayer rug stable during use. High-resolution digital printing reproduces the Mihrab, floral bouquet, architectural pillars, willow-inspired botanical details and ornate border with clear definition.
