Custom Prayer Mat, Muslim İslamic Prayer Rug

PREMIUM & LUXURY OTTOMAN-INSPIRED TURQUOISE BLUE MIHRAB PRAYER MAT

This Turkish Muslim prayer mat features an elegant multi-lobed Mihrab arch, a suspended hanging lamp motif, ornate architectural pillars and a continuous Shah Abbasi-inspired floral border. Inspired by Ottoman palace-style decorative art, the design combines a clean cream and off-white prayer field with a vibrant turquoise blue outer border, salmon pink spandrels and deep burgundy botanical details.

The central Islamic prayer mat design is framed by classical architectural elements, while a symmetrical flowering shrub medallion rises from the lower center of the prayer field. A continuous floral vine filled with large palmette blossoms surrounds the composition, creating a richly detailed Ottoman-inspired prayer rug.

COLOR PALETTE

Cream / Off-White — Main background of the open central prayer field, providing a clean contrast for the architectural and botanical elements.

Turquoise Blue — Dominant color of the wide outer decorative border, creating the strongest visual contrast in the composition.

Salmon Pink / Peach — Used in the upper spandrel areas surrounding the Mihrab arch.

Deep Burgundy — Adds rich contrast to the palmettes, outlines and architectural column bases.

Charcoal / Olive Gray — Defines the detailed vines, leaves and delicate botanical pattern work.

Medium Gray — Used for the woven end borders and functional hanging tassels at the top and bottom edges.

MIHRAB ARCH PRAYER DESIGN

The prominent multi-lobed pointed Mihrab creates the architectural focus of this Muslim prayer mat. Its scalloped form frames the upper portion of the cream prayer field and provides the traditional prayer niche structure.

The Mihrab is traditionally associated with the prayer niche and direction of prayer, making it one of the defining visual elements of a traditional Islamic prayer rug.

HANGING LAMP PENDANT

An elongated geometric and floral pendant hangs from the apex of the central arch and extends into the upper portion of the prayer field.

Hanging lamp imagery is traditionally associated with light, spiritual guidance and devotion. In this design, the pendant also provides a strong vertical focal point within the Mihrab.

ARCHITECTURAL PILLARS

Ornate classical-style columns flank the central prayer field on both sides. Detailed bases, central rings and decorated capitals create a structured architectural frame around the Mihrab.

Architectural pillars may be traditionally interpreted as visual representations of support, stability and structural strength.

SHRUB MEDALLION

At the lower center of the cream prayer field is a symmetrical triangular arrangement of flowers, leaves and branching stems. This shrub-like botanical motif forms the base of the central composition.

Botanical tree and shrub imagery is traditionally associated with natural abundance, gardens, growth and spiritual flourishing.

SHAH ABBASI PALMETTE BORDER

The wide turquoise blue outer border features a continuous undulating vine connecting large multi-petaled palmette flowers and stylized blossoms. The Shah Abbasi-inspired floral pattern creates a richly ornamental frame around the prayer field.

Palmette imagery is traditionally associated with floral abundance, beauty and continuity, although specific symbolic meanings can vary between artistic traditions.

OTTOMAN-INSPIRED MUSLIM PRAYER RUG

The combination of the Mihrab arch, hanging pendant, architectural pillars, central botanical shrub and Shah Abbasi-inspired palmette border gives this Turkish prayer mat a distinctive Ottoman-inspired appearance.

The contrast between the cream central field and turquoise floral border creates a balanced composition, while salmon pink, deep burgundy and charcoal botanical details add depth to the traditional design.

SOFT PRAYER MAT CONSTRUCTION

The approximately 7 mm surface provides a soft, silky-feel finish while maintaining a smooth, flat and lint-free construction. The non-slip woven cotton backing helps keep the prayer rug stable during use.

High-resolution digital printing reproduces the architectural details, botanical vines, palmette flowers and color contrasts with clear definition.

PERSONALIZED PRAYER MAT

Personalize this Islamic prayer mat with a name, text, selected colors or suitable design adjustments. Personalization is produced through high-resolution digital printing rather than embroidery.
